Awards + ASsessment Committee
Each year, AFLV appoints experienced fraternity/sorority professionals and volunteers to the Awards & Assessment Committee.
The Role of the Committee
Judge awards by thoroughly reviewing every application, providing objective measure and feedback, and consulting with councils about awards applications during AFLV Central and AFLV West
Assist the Director of Assessment & Awards with the annual review and weighting of awards criteria
Advise AFLV for the Awards + Assessment Program and serve as awards consultants
Responsibilities & Expectations
Serve a one-year term beginning on the date of selection
Provide feedback to applicants (if attending AFLV Central or AFLV West)
Actively participate in the weighting of awards categories and criteria
Awards committee members are full-time professionals or seasoned volunteers in the field of fraternity/sorority advising
Graduate students are not eligible for this role.
